If you would like to enjoy “Wagyu (Japanese beef)”, this is a great spot for you. Steaks, Hamburg Steaks, Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki, you can enjoy authentic Japanese meaty & tasty dishes.

This restaurant has a good choice of traditional Japanese, Korean dishes as well as steaks and burgers. Conveniently located, it takes only 5 mins walking from Akihabara Station.

China Doll (チャイナ・ドール)


Modern and sophisticated Hong Kong cuisine restaurant. Very spacious and reasonable price.

CS comments:
Kids and wallet friendly. They have comfy sofas that I always feel comfortable sitting on. The foods are also good!

Wain-no-Ruisuke (ワインのるいすけ)


Varieties of “Wain (wine)” and “Suage (deep-fried without coating)” chickens welcome you here. They use Daisen chickens which represent Tottori Prefecture. They have sweetness in the flavor and very juicy!

CS comments:
Very delicious! They have not only Japanese flavor but also Thai, Italian flavor chicken dishes as well. Lunch menu is reasonable.

Gonpachi (権八)

Gonpachi aka Kill Bill restaurant in Nishi-Azabu. High-end Izakaya, modern Japanese style with a hint of western sense. Affordably priced foods and drinks are here.

CS comments:
If you are a fan of Kill Bill, this place is good to visit! Very popular place for tourists. I always take my friends from overseas to this restaurant!

Tsukiji Sushidai (築地 寿司大)


Genuine Edo-style Sushi made with items freshly delivered from Tsukiji fish market. They give taste to the sushi with boil-down soy sauce or salt, which enables you to enjoy the sushi without dipping into soy sauce.

CS comments:
I recommend “Omakase set (a set of the chef’s choice)” which comes with 10 sushis, 1 rolled sushi, omelet and a bowl of soup. And you can order 1 extra sushi at the end!

Aoyama Farmer’s Market (青山ファーマーズマーケット)


Technically this is not a restaurant but an open-air market held only on the weekends at United Nations University in Aoyama. There are varieties of stands selling organic vegetables, coffees, teas and all sort of things. There are food trucks as well and you can enjoy take-out Bentos.

CS comments:
Good place to browse around, have a lazy Sunday brunch or buy fresh foods to cook at your apartment.

Shabu-shabu Onyasai (しゃぶしゃぶ温野菜)


Shabu-shabu chain restaurant located throughout Japan. Enjoy cooking Japanese fresh vegetables and finely selected meats in varieties of boiling soup stocks at your own table.

This is one of the unique Japanese restaurant style; you cook and eat at your own table. Great for family and group!

Since 1889, they have been continuing to inherit the traditional taste of Tempura. The building itself is a registered tangible cultural property.

CS comments:
I visited this place last week. We were in the line for good 2 hours even it was a weekday lunch time. But it was worthy to wait in the line. You can enjoy the authentic Tempura and the old Japanese interior also.
